| I have been a storm chaser since April 1986. I chase Thunderstorms, Tornadoes, Tropical Cyclones (such as hurricanes), and any other type of storm. I have been living in Florida eversince I started actively pursuing extreme weather and have often traveled to the central United States for severe weather plus chased tropical systems along the Gulf Coast / Caribbean. This section portrays a very large portion of my storm chasing "career" from severe thunderstorms to hurricane chasing! Note - This page may take a while to load on some SLOWER connections! |

NOTE: Above is a long list of my tropical cyclone chasing career. The 2004 and 2005 Atlantic Hurricane Seasons offered the most productive tropical cyclone chasing out of the entire list, unfortunately, at a GREAT cost due to the apalling loss of life and property, especially from tropical cyclones Charley, Frances, Ivan, Jeanne in 2004 and Dennis and WORST OF ALL, Katrina and many others in 2005. Although these 2004 and 2005 storms made for incredible data and photography acquisition, they did destroy, kill, and disable. The National Hurricane Center, National Weather Service, American Red cross, and Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) all deserve to be commended for their involvement during such hardships. Tropical cyclones (such as hurricanes) are an extremely dangerous and destructive weather phenomina. I discourage anyone without the urge AND knowledge to even attempt to study such storms by driving through / chasing them. The pictures and videos in this area are intended for scientific and education purposes - Tropical cyclones deserve both respect and awareness.
