Publix The location on Sample and Federal Highway (US1) in Pompano Beach, FL.

No need to apologize. I went elsewhere for the same results (and it was much more efficient).

S Florida is full of entitled old people so I can understand.

Publix was jam packed with no distancing in the flu shots area and blatantly denied my insurance card (wanted $48).

CVS next door did it for free and gave me a $6 gift card. AND there was no line of old ladies with blue hair either :)

Sky-Chaser Chris Collura commented on Norwegian Cruise Line's video.

I seriously would NOT book anything until (big IF) these companies ever sail again after the pandemic. Most companies are already going bankrupt / forfeiting their ships. So be careful. Esp when these companies (including Disney or other travel agencies) say "you got 24 months to travel". Hopefully a cure and / or vaccine will be out by then, and the cruise company still in business.

Like the Aussie zoologist Steve Irwin. He handled the most dangerous creatures and never had an issue...

...Yet tragically killed swimming with his family on the beach when a sting ray "jabbed" him in the chest.

I even knew a skydiver who would do crazy stuff for 30 to 40 years. Never got hurt. Then he dies in the dental chair during routine oral surgery.

As for me I severely sprained my knee and was rushed to the ER on the SAME DAY I did a high altitude skydive from 24,000 feet - The injury was from tripping on my front steps to my apartment coming BACK FROM the skydive place.

The Grim Reaper is gonna get you at the strangest times.

Sky-Chaser Chris Collura replied to Jason Foster's comment.

Adam Cooley No worries. This was no one's fault. It was a computer program (algorithm) that saw the phrase and context and mistakenly banned me. I work in IT and come across software bugs / programming code errors all the time. You test and test and still an issue pops up after the code is implemented. I can imagine how complex the FB source code must be!

Jason Foster Probably given that Bermuda is like Taiwan in many ways and in the "alley" for tropical cyclones (hurricanes and typhoons, respectively).

Like Igor in 2010 and many others, Bermuda is in a precarious location for storms that recurve. Look at Maria in 2017 (Puerto Rico).

Jason Foster Yeah I seriously think this is the case. You remember back in April I deleted my old Facebook and created a new one?

Now I feel that was a waste. I was getting so many hate messages and reports (on the old one prior to Apr 22) it wasn't funny. Then I found out a few people were jealous of me because I was able to chase and they couldn't (wife didn't allow it, Covid-19 restrictions / New York, etc).

In case you are wondering, I did not chase hurricane Sally due to appointments and work / family related stuff that would have been almost impossible to change. But here are some pictures of the "topside" of hurricane Sandy from an airliner flying west to east and skirting over the northern side of the storm on Sept 15 late in the day. The milky white clouds are cirrus and cirrostratus, and extend as high as 60,000 feet. The B737 plane is flying at 41,000 feet.Despite being above 99% of the convective activity, the ride is quite bumpy, and flying east - The clockwise (anticyclonic) high-altitude outflow actually pushes the plane somewhat, making for an early arrival despite going around the storm system. The cirrus clouds present a beautiful halo around the sun due to fine ice crystals in left image. To the right is the view of the storm cirrus canopy from over Florida. The upper-middle inset is the view over Louisiana looking SE and approaching the edge of Sally.

Adam Cooley I doubt it. I think it was the algorithm and maybe because the "b.h. word" had a space in it (yours had no space). Anyway its very strange. Violating too if you ask me.

Sky-Chaser Chris Collura replied to Lindsey Fowler's comment.

Lindsey Fowler I understand that. But this was a post I did, responding to a silly comment / joke Adam Cooley put out there with the same phrase he used, and I was banned for it.

As for news feeds and such, yes, those are easy to block.

Please try to read this... Good day everyone. As you can imagine, this week was a very busy week. California fires, hurricane Sally, politics / Covid-19, and - Of course - Facebook. I was eager to post cool images of fire smoke and comment on hurricane Sally - As I flew over it heading to Florida (no, I could not chase Sally because of family, medical, and work commitments this go around). But Sunday night I tried to click the "like" button (from a funny post from @[100001500549445:2048:Lindsey Fowler] on a Russian Covid-19 vaccine joke post) and was displayed a screen that I cannot post or comment for 3 days. This was SUNDAY NIGHT.The so called "offending post" was to @[100000618937370:2048:Adam Cooley] on a hilarious post about a radar image and Buffalo Wild Wings. And there were even responses and such, since right after posting the totally legit response I was almost instantly flagged, but not blocked nor banned. My so called "offensive post" was SATURDAY AFTERNOON.An annotated screen shot of Adam's funny post and radar image, some messages, and a screen shot of the banned message I got Sunday, are shown in the picture associated with this post.As soon as I posted my response to Adam on Saturday - Within seconds - I got a message it was in appropriate. I promptly deleted it. After many other posts of skydiving and weather, late on Sunday, and many hours after, I was banned for 3 days.I am simply putting this out there ... As my post had no racism. No offensive pictures. And no cuss / vulgar words. In fact, the actual phrase that GOT ME BANNED is in the first few lines of Adam Cooley's post ... I won't repeat it here but it was NOT a bad word. So why was I kicked off? How come Adam wasn't kicked off if he had the same word in his post (again see the picture)?Did someone report me? If so, I have a messenger on here, and email - And I am more than happy to explain (or take for) any criticism someone may have against me. It's 2020 after all, so I'll understand. If not, why on earth would I be banned and put in "Facebook jail" for 3 to 4 days? I'm asking because of a very innocuous phrase (I'll just say it here, it was "b_tt h__e") that was in response to Adam's funny message with that SAME phrase in it. So what happened? This is all besides far worse comments and attacks I have been seeing on here - Some directed at me and others. I never see those posts banned. Also, many people start this - I understand these are rough times for all of us - But the political and anti-peaceful / fake-news posts in here are just ridiculous. These "stir up" rather harsh emotions and reactions. Maybe THOSE are the folks that should get banned? Not the ones reading them and getting hurt / offended?I know some posts before I slipped up and had some bad wording in them and deleted them. But not this time.Anyway I am just putting this out here for you to see. This time I seriously didn't do anything. I think its unfair I was banned - And at a worst time with the weather events and such going on that I was eager to share - I messaged some folks on those!I'll take any opinion with no defense but to be honest I am not going to even respond to anything interesting or funny on here until the people and managers on this app straighten up their act. Its more like ANTI social media at this point. Thanks for reading if you made it HERE ;)

I used to dream alot about her. Often spending time cooking or doing something nice in the family. In the dream I know so and purposly slow down not to rush anything, knowing the wonderful dream will end. I wake up crying hysterically. She basically "visited me". But that isn't good due to the emotions, so you are right. She is in a FAR better place.

September 11, 2001 was one of the darkest days in American history. It has been exactly nineteen (19) years since this attack happened..This year (and every year) is a good time to remember those who lost their lives because of a hostile and down-right cowardly act of terrorism inflicted on the United States by the Al Qaeda / Taliban groups.Who can forget the heroes that fateful day? Those on the ground, those on the planes (except the perpetrators, of course), the firefighters, the innocent people TRYING to do nothing more than going to work to support a family ... The list goes on.Always remember and never forget.

This is a picture taken from inside the inner eyewall of hurricane "Irma" as it was making landfall in Marco Island, Florida at roughly 3:15 PM EDT on September 10, 2017, three years ago, with @[1610340277:2048:Derek Sibley]!The ferocious winds here are blowing with gusts exceeding 130 MPH, tearing apart palm trees, throwing debris across the area, and nearly tearing my shirt right off my body. This scene was lit by a brilliant flash of lightning and thunderclap barely audible over the roar of the wind. This was about 10 minutes before entering the calm eye of Irma (which had some sun peeking through).http://sky-chaser.com/irma17.htm

Just last night I was watching a black comedy / suspense movie called "Novacaine". I went into Wikipedia and typed in "nova..." and auto filled "novacaine film", not the medicine nor the disambiguation page for it. My phone KNEW I was watching this movie.

Its mostly a convenience for searches like that to look up an actor or food, but is the phone really listening? This can't be a coincidence.

I want to apologize if I offended anyone with a pretty bad remark I posted about a video I was deeply disturbed and angered after seeing. The video was from the September 11 attacks in 2001 and showed one of the planes impacting the buildings with a audio recording of a phone call of a woman on the plane crying and scared for her life (then going silent after saying "I see buildings...").September 11 and anything reminding me of it gives me bad post traumatic stress and nightmares. Even worse, the after effects ruined my career at the time, I lost me home, financial welfare, stocks lost, and even my partner at the time didn't understand and she left me (even blamed me that was laid off because "how I dress"). It took almost a decade to recover from this.Anyway. I am not a prejudice person and in anger after seeing this, some bad stereotypes and remarks "slipped out", and, naturally I was put in "FB jail" for 24 hours. I am extremely sorry about this and if I offended anyone I promise it will never happen again.Note: The post had the physics equation in it (picture) but has been deleted. Please PM me if you need to talk to me.
