Wow this is crazy, and I am happy t hear you survived this. Sounds exactly what I felt for about 2 days with what I think was flu B back in January. Glad you are better! Wow.

Chris Collura replied to Jason Foster's comment.

Jason Foster I'm very stressed lately. Why wouldn't I be? LOL Just stay safe over there too, buddy :)

Chris Collura replied to Jason Foster's comment.

Yeah ... Or just leave it in because I ain't monetizing anything anyways. Just getting tired of people bitching about ads on some of my videos when I clearly keep my channel ad free.

Posted: Mar 31, 2020, 2:14 PM

Chris Collura replied to Dave Lewison's comment.

Nothing on my channel is monetized. I just use YouTube to host videos with my web-site linking to them. I could care less on any background music getting credits, although not this one, many other disputes were filed for music the YouTube Audio Library allowed me to use totally royalty free in many other videos.

Keeping their heads where the sun don't shine? More will die from alcohol withdrawal in AL than those with covid-19 complications in NY :(

I was eying up tomorrows MDT but storms will be moving 70 knots. Can't avoid eventually "hitting" a major city at those speeds :(

Chris Collura commented on Henry Dinh Le's photo.

And we WONDER "What We Did To 'Deserve' God's Punishment"? Acting so hateful. Henry Dinh Le is a very cool guy. Look at all this HATE in the world, let alone this app? F'cking BE NICE to each other (and Adrian, you can go SHOVE IT) ... God is watching! Tik Tok...

Posted: Mar 26, 2020, 1:41 PM

Chris Collura is feeling determined.

You can see WHY I am not on FaceBook much (duh? why?) ... I don't see nothing positive about what's going on. You are all bashing the president, dissing people who want to go storm chasing (that's the only thing fun we got left, besides staying home and screwing your wives - Oh wait, I can't ever have that right?)

So please let us all be nice and THINK F'CKING POSITIVE (positive thinking, not "positive" for Covid-19 for Christ's sake). We cannot enjoy a hot meal, nor bar with friends. There isn't skydiving, can't go to beaches, airshows and concerts are canceled, and beautiful people ARE dying!

I will try my best to go storm chasing. I'll be isolated more, and not dealing with crowds / staying AWAY from big cities, which I never liked - Long before any viruses - Anyways. God is the boss, not me, and not for so many others (sorry, you all thought so). Tim Marshall isn't letting this stop him, and neither am I...

...Comment as much as you all like :/

Posted: Mar 26, 2020, 12:06 PM

Chris Collura replied to his own comment.

Dave Lewison MY type of shit-story … Can't go skydiving, have to stay home, based on people's opinions, probably I cannot chase, no job, no one AT ALL thinking positive, saw someone beating on an Asian guy the other day ... Sucks all around, doesn't it? The Lord gave eth and the Lord took eth AWAY.

Chris Collura commented on Henry Le's post.

Please, don't engage in heated opinions. Just ignore them. You are gonna get into trouble and it's not worth it. Especially with all the other problems we have to deal with now.

Posted: Mar 26, 2020, 10:35 AM

Chris Collura commented on Dave Lewison's post.

It's a hobby or "sportlike" activity. But it's unlikely it would be cancelled just like eveything else that WAS fun. I will just hunker down in small towns, bring food, not be near large cities or crowds in them. Simle for me.

Posted: Mar 26, 2020, 10:33 AM

Chris Collura commented on Tim Marshall's photo.

Ill start heading out to Tornado Alley no later than early-mid April. The first half of April looks very active if the mid-long range models verify.

Posted: Mar 26, 2020, 10:32 AM

Chris Collura commented on Doug Kiesling's post.

Goes to show you that this is a REAL disaster. Just one you cannot chase.

Posted: Mar 25, 2020, 11:14 AM

Chris Collura replied to Mark Blue's comment.

Like McPherson or Hutchinson. Safer than staying in any city outside of the Alley, that's for sure!

Posted: Mar 24, 2020, 7:36 PM

Thunderstorms over SE USA after dusk on 3/24 ... Somewhere between Alabama and Tennessee. Tornado watch was in place at the time.

Posted: Mar 22, 2020, 1:23 PM

Chris Collura is feeling optimistic.

I am still alive and well. Just not on here much, as I don't wanna see all the negative /ad news.

I am wrapping up family stuff in FL and after that, headed out to the country's mid section over the next few months, storm chasing (I am not working in IT now either), and most-likely wait most of this out in a small town.

Gathering a stash of food and sustenance during that time-frame, 6 month supply of any medicines, and simply avoiding large populations (for example, stay in Enid OK instead of Dallas of OKC). NO "crowds" please! Could be interesting.

Posted: Mar 22, 2020, 1:17 PM

Chris Collura replied to Jason Foster's comment.

Yeah, but ill take those doughnuts over the real thing :)

Posted: Mar 21, 2020, 6:20 AM

Chris Collura commented on ABC News's post.

Saw that first hand myself. Just wanted to drive by the beach and the traffic was horrendous there, not just Spring Break, but many senior citizens too. Last Thursday by Deerfield Beach I witnessed a fist fight over a parking spot when an older man attempted to "hold" it for someone going to a bar / restaurant there. The establishment was packed, with valet $25, and a long wait for a table. Of course I did not dare stop nor even attempt parking there, which looked more to me like a mall with deep discounts on "Black Friday". Yet I cannot go skydiving, or even church, since those places are closed.

Posted: Mar 19, 2020, 6:39 AM

Chris Collura commented on John Planco's post.

Being ON the beach is OK as long as you stay away from other people, plus I avoid crowded beaches anyway, never liked the pushing and shoving, and paying for parking (IF you can find it). Yesterday I passed by the local beach here, and I was apalled. Not only was there NO parking (and a "Christmas Shopping" / "Black Friday" type line of cars jamming the road, waiting for a spot to open up), but I saw tons of people crowding the beachfront bars and pubs there! And no, these were all senior citizens, not the spring break millenials. Valet was $25 and I came across two older men fist fighting over a parking spot because one of them was "holding it". Social "distancing" I guess is also a "contact sport" now?

Flying just west of where you, Jason Persoff, and I met up (June 21, 2019)! Yeah it was an awesome flight and the stall-spin was quite hairy!

Posted: Mar 19, 2020, 6:23 AM

Chris Collura commented on Doug Kiesling's post.

I have eaten there few times and it's quite good. But the looks, and weight, of the others sitting around me can make me lose my appetite. One chubby girl puked on the floor by the ice cream bar. Then I was full and paid the bill = Bye!

Guys ... BAD time to do "this" now ... VERY BAD time :/Beach traffic, jammed restaurants and bars, and NO parking ($25 for valet). And it's a weekday too. Let's celebrate Mardi Gras here too? Lol. Wow. Just wow...Place: Deerfield Beach, Florida (26.3182, -80.0993) Address: Deerfield Beach, Florida 33441–33443

Posted: Mar 17, 2020, 6:12 AM

Believe it or not, flying is the cleanest air (filtered 30 times and mixed with air at 40k feet) as long as you wipe down surfaces and not travel if your sick. Going coast to coast last minute (yes that's $113 round trip!) is just sick in itself (price wise)!

In my opinion all social media, esp FB and its fear mongering / personal attacks, should be shut down (just pull the plug on their servers lol). As well as dating apps and all the hate, racism, and ageism that goes along with that. Websites are OK.

After this blows over we can just go out and mingle in PERSON (and not behind a screen where you can punch someone's lights out if they say something mean to you).

Then one county south in Broward county, where there were no roadblocks and beaches open ... Everyone went to the beaches there. Took hours to find parking, as if it was a saturday during the X Mas holidays. Ridiculous.

I bet in the Bahamas not a single cop stopped any chaser there, despite it being right in the thick of it :)
