Mounting system is slim and easily packed away. Top is the windshield suction mounts, which bolt to the accessory holder, bottom. The white is velcro, with the cell phone mount to the left, and GoPro / camera mounts to the right. It's painted black to prevent glare.

I'm in a horrible mood tonight. I'm sick of the shootings nearly every month. Sick of my boss complaining on my hard work 'not cutting it' ... Sick of the attacks, worrying about our safety. I came home, took 2 shots of NyQuil and went to bed... Didn't even talk to my damn family / friends. Tired of this country ... So, Obama - what ya gonna say now? More of your BS public speaking?

I just threw up in the office trash can ... Just thinking about people, good people, trying to win a Marathon in Boston. Working out every day, toning their strong legs ... The end result: Thirty or more of those people's 'legs' are blown off. At least 2 dead.

I really believe now the reasons why so many disasters are on the rise (Joplin, Katrina, etc) is simply God warning us. I'm so fucking suck and tired of this crap in this country.

I just about give up here. I'm still struggling at my job every day because of 9/11 ... There's always Canada.

Hopefully get a skydive in today and most importantly see my mom who is making a great recovery after having a tumor removed last week. Just finished uploading pictures from last week's chase in Central USA (and more to come)! My mom is probably the luckiest lady in Florida right now (health wise) ... God does indeed offer second chances.

Headed home after 3 days of chasing ... As expected, April 9 was a huge day 3 days ago and quickly went to mush / linear crap. The main focus of this trip was actually April 7 and 8, long before the surging arctic air from Calgary plunged deep into Mexico ;)

OK ... I'm 10 miles west of Lawnton, OK and calling it quits. 2% tor and hail probably post-frontal. Turning around - I fly out of Kansas city tomorrow AM. Not a bad past 2 days, I'll be back out here in about a month ;-)

TSA really freaked out when seeing this antenna mount I slapped together at the last minute. It's PVC and allows easy mounting on any vehicle or my weather station (for hurricanes). It was enough to close the security lane and bring in some "investigators" from TSA's Elite Staff - They even took photos of it! When it was just an antenna mount, things re-opened (after 20 minutes) and moved on. Luckily US Air (FLL to Kansas City) was not crowded!

Mom should be finished with her surgery this afternoon evening. They are removing a small tumor from the surface of her brain. This was causing pressure, and the seizures / speech impairment. I will visit her hopefully late tonight or tomorrow before leaving to chase after that in central USA ... The key to beating spring break is to look for last minute cancellations if you have to fly out for a spot chase / multi-day event. A few days ago, the same $266 airfare was nearly $1K!

OK ... I found some last minute air tickets to Kansas City late Sat night and returning Wednesday around lunch. This should put me in position for the Sun (marginal), Mon (good), and Tuesday (good) multi-day event!
