Wow ... Have not been this freaking sick in YEARS! Damn boss (yes, got it from him who got it from his kids). On top of that, my mom is back in the hospital so I had to muster up whatever strength I wasn't using to cough like a 90 y/o and drive over there with a mask over my mouth. Another seizure. I'm back home and ready to pass out. Glad I made it to the chaser event yesterday. Have a good night...

Thanks to Jim Jim Leonard for the awesome get together on march 30! Never seen so much food! Today I'm hung up in bed with aweful cold. Barely made it to church :(

Back to Florida today ... I saw a rather sad scenario with some of the folks I worked with up here. Two workers, both Asians, were literally thrown out of the USA a several years back because they were trying to get their "paperwork" / authorization. Then, after 9 months, one of them lost her job, and her paperwork was cancelled. You need to be working at LEAST a year.

Canada does NOT do this (their laws are different)! Yet, in the USA, don't most people LOSE their jobs anyway like nothing (post 9/11 recession, mergers, relocations, pissy bosses, etc)? We worry about money enough if you lose your job ... Imagine losing your job AND your privilege to stay in the USA? No wonder why so many foreigners in the USA are so miserable.

At least those two (despite being thrown out of the USA) - May have been for the better. Both were working at the SAME Company for 3 years, have 2 big houses for their kids and family, and enough money to visit their other family back in China a couple times a year. Reminds me in a way of when I got an offer to go back with a job (PICK programmer) with a company that canned me after 9/11 due to lack of business (in 2002).

Then they rejected me instantly, saying not interested ... Why? Because "I have not worked in PICK for more than 3 months"! The last time I worked in PICK was 2 years ago, and I have 20+ years experience in it! Now what if I was out of work for 5 months nearly broke? Same thing? Do USA people ever take their heads out from under a ROCK?

The first attempt at a GoPro over Niagara Falls on 3/22 failed as the sheer impact broke the case and the GoPro failed from the water. The GoPro3 took the shots (2nd attempt) after nearly losing it as it was jammed in 50' ice cicles during retrieval. The first water damaged GoPro was taken apart, and dried out ... this morning (3/23) I put it back together and it worked! Next time I'll "feed" it to an EF-5 tornado :)

Spent some of my free time in Canada today (3/22) braving the cool snowy weather to send my GoPro3 over the Horseshoe Falls! I will put together a video of this soon, but in the meantime, enjoy the still shots!

American Airline's online check in has so many issues. Would not let me check in, despite 40 free seats. Finally, at the kiosk, I got some "PNA Mismatch" error at the airport. Then, after a long wait for an agent, THIS was the seat I got - Squeezed between two 300+ pounders!

Had a blast on seadoo today (3/10) in the 8-10 foot waves off palm beach county! Actually rescued two guys who got rolled on their watercraft ... Other than that, got to spend good time with my mom as well.
