Surprised again - Got 25+ channels on my digital air with one missing (it did not come in ONLY last night, ABC) - That only one missing channel was the one the Oscars was on (ofcourse)!

Like I really care, though - Just to show you "who's" got the "market" (or trying to steal it - CATV)! Paying $136+ a month for a once a year channel - No thanks.

CATV's been ditched - Netflix and Internet only plus local HD channels (about 10-20 of them) on a wall-mounted antenna. Saves roughtly $80 to $100 a month. Thanks Theodore Teddy Garcia (and TI) for those ideas last week (they ditched their CATV too)!

I visted my mom and she's struggling (again) ... It's an up-and-down "thing" now ... Just pray she lives another birthday (Her's was today (2/20) and my Dad's was Monday 2/18). Cancer (and cigarettes) suck BIG time!

The douchebags once again raised my rent nearly $108 a month. Loyal tenant since 2010, never had a leak or problem, here's the starting (and ending) rental rates: 2010 - $1265 a month, 2011 - $1285, 2012 - $1341, and NOW (2013) - $1448 - WTF???

My SALARY is the SAME it was in 2001 too. Time to cut TV out of my CATV / Internet bill (saves $80). To all running businesses in our wonderful USA: "Think BEFORE you put 'the screws' to your customers"!

9/11/2001 is OVER ... Life goes on...

Powerful jet stream causes a 6 hour flight from Florida to California to take 7 1/2 hours - The nominal 550 MPH over the ground was as low as 330 MPH!

Currently in the Bay area in California ... Flight from Florida to SFO on Sat (2/2) was a whopping 7 1/2 hours (normally just under 6) and got in an hour and a half late. Ground speed was around 330 MPH over the ground - A 220 MPH head wind! Wish we had some T-Storms under that "speed max"!
