Just was out on seadoo in 12 to 15 foot NE swells off palm beach FL from sandy's hurricane surf! I wanted to post pictures but came home and powers out. Decided to grab a pizza in the meantime! Pics later :-)

Hurricane Sandy is in the Caribbean and headed north towards Cuba and the Bahamas. The storm will still be strong, and if not tropical, a potent hybrid / extratropical storm by late week just east of FL. The large wind envelope should generate some tremendous waves as Sandy passes the Eastern USA. If not much wind, the eastern US and FL WILL see something from Sandy! I am even considering hitting the Bahamas.

Last minute deal on a flight found leaving late Thursday (10/11), chase KS Friday (10/12), Iowa Saturday (10/13), and I should be back by 11:30 AM in time for the 1PM Dolphins game in Miami (and I'll take a breath then) on Sunday (10/14)!

Contemplating on a possible trip to chase W Kansas by late Friday. SWA is (again) doing their thing with their famous $567 each way BS again (FLL - MCI route).

Dallas is far cheaper. It should not be a problem chasing there by late Friday thanks to points. Also, Saturday may be good towards Iowa but then I have to return Sunday and miss the game. We'll see how this pans out.

LOL ... iPhone 5 totally changed their cable connector. This means if you get one (and spend $600+), you have to replace your adapters, oh and the $399 Bose adapter / player too, the $80 case, connectors ... WTF, Apple? I'll have my 4s for a while anyway. I guess apple was always good at 'stimulating' the economy?
