Two folks were un-friended this morning (Zynga, Gardens Of Time, and Farmville) ... I simply have no time seeing these pop up all the time on my iPhone and Facebook apps. Sorry, no offense... Meanwhile ... The "training moisture" is still crotching into Fort Lauderdale relentlessly (what's so frustrating is that at 6 PM it dies down, looks encouraging it will stop the next morning, then you wake up and on the radar all the yellow is SOLID where the "holes" were a day earlier). There's basically nothing to kick this out, and it's a backdoor trough (moving in from the SE), so it could last a week! Plan on watching a LOT of TV if you are not working.

What a rotten Sunday here weather wise. I just woke up from nap and haven't even gone outside yet. 2009 is making a come back. And another thing ... I'm starting to get all those FarmVille and dopey requests again. I simply remove friends who send those, so be careful.

Weather has NO "holes" today (Sunday) ... Air show cancelled (sigh) and the moisture just keeps training on in - straight from Cuba and the straits and right into Fort Lauderdales crotch ... Only a YEAR till the next one - thanks Castro :(

I was able to skydive today (Saturday) and just wrapped up visiting mom and church. Tomorrow (Sunday) looks like a cloudy but GOOD day for the airshow (that was NOT cancelled). Nature manages to cooperate in mysterious ways.

This new iPhone 4s with it's "Lifeproof" case can be submerged in up to nearly 7 feet of water (I would not try that though), but it's a great case for hurricane / storm chasing to say the least - Especially with the mobile wifi hotspot.

How can cheap $1 (or less batteries) RUIN hundreds (or even thousands) of dollars worth of electronics? Simply leave them IN the device for a while! Trust me, they will leak electrolyte into the battery compartment, which is corrosive, and eat away at the electronics (IC's). Then you dust if off, turn it on, and nothing happens. Insert new batteries, still nothing happens when you turn it on. Take it apart, and only realize you have to throw it away (I took this picture before doing that). Luckily this was "only" a $50 FRS radio ... Lesson learned: Do NOT leave stale batteries in electronics!!

Boy do I wish I could be LIKE my boss ... He was supposed to leave the office NEXT week, but left yesterday and called me today (this morning) saying he'll see me "On the 16th" ... Jeez what a worm, ey? At least I got one more week of being "used" ... Then I am winding down, and out of there by 4/30. 'ts too much.

That's it ... My 'quit' notice was placed this morning at work. Boss took it VERY well (not surprised) ... Last day around April 30. Plenty of flexibility after April 13. Possibly working part time (technical only) back in June - no customer "stuff" after that (or new job) ... God knows what he's doing.
