Saturday ... And there it is ... That damn front right across the state. SPC has nothing over FL, not even a see text. No skydiving, no outdoors stuff. I'll seriously consider this when I decide WHERE my next job will be...

Good evening all ... Sad day today as I was "canned" from my job after nearly 2 years. Luckily I realized how crappy the economy is and have a large savings to survive off of the next year if I have to. As for chasing, more time for that ... All I got to say!

Middle of the week ... Not much going on here. Busy with work and such. I always look forward to the weekend, and hopefully nice weather. Planning for upcoming chase season as well.

Finally the entire weekend down here in FL was nice. No cold front, no high in the upper 40's, no gloom, no strong winds, no "weather system" producing non-chaseable weekend-ruining weather from Cuba, and it's warm too! Just skydived and wrapped up church and visiting parents. Getting ready to take the SeaDoo out for picnic / lake. Front comes through Florida Monday (for a change) - When I'm at work - As it should.

Corrently in Denver, Colorado for the ChaserCon Convention (storm chase convention) from Feb 12-14 (Friday is a trip to the mountains), then the chaser convention ... See all you storm chasers out there (hopefully)!

Back to the work week. Got to skydive this past Sunday as weather was finally perfect (after a LONG time). Headed to Denver Storm Chasing Convention Feb 12-14 (this coming weekend) and hope to see you all out there who's going.

Saturday ... Weather nicer than expected ... Maybe I'll consider skydiving if winds come down. Saw rotating updraft pass over my place in Miami last night (2-5) at about 7:30 PM with RFD and rotating wall cloud (helped a bit with the SDS). Hopefully will visit parents and get church in as well...

Weekend here and no storms to chase ... But the on-schedule weekend front is - as always - right over FL. Got tornado watch, though - But nothing happened. What a c_ck tease. Most likely spending weekend inside ... Could have been worse: This could have happened last Saturday unstead of Last Sunday ;-) Damn moisture from Cuba...

Wednesday is here and week is half over. I see more rain (but NO storms) for next weekend (again). It's OK because last weekend I got (some) of my jumps / excitement in! The L-39 was one hell of a wild ride ... One vertical loop in that thing is a mile and a half in diameter! Planning now for storm chase 2010 and chaser convention next week...
