Off to California for a couple of weeks (Until Nov 14). Still watching the tropics with very low hope. Dry season has set in in FL anyway. Highly unlikely Tomas will affect the US, but the Caribbean is another story.

Hurricane season is winding down early as of early October with so much troughs over the eastern US and dry air over FL, I see any system being repelled away, even anything in the W Caribbean should miss the US. I am calling off this year and grateful I saw a hurricane (at least) in Bermuda. Planning vacation time in Canada and California towards end of month.
