Video of Hurricane Matthew brushing by the Florida east coast near Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral from October 6 to October 7, 2016. The hurricane had winds 130 to 140 MPH, but the left (western) eyewall of the storm made its closest approach to the area late in the night of October 6-7. Storm surge of about 5 feet and winds gusting over 100 MPH were observed with this storms passage.
