This is a video clip of storm chasing on May 30, 2008 in central Illinois. The video shows numerous supercell storms, many producing strong winds, vivid lightning, large hail, and possible funnels / tornadoes. This video shows numerous supercells training along Interstate 72 west of Springfield. The video also includes a direct-hit with a weaker anti-cyclonic tornado near Tifton, Kansas at dusk! The video shows a portion of the storm-chase expedition that was done in the central USA (or "Tornado Alley") from May 19 through June 1 of 2008.
