This is an edited video clip of storm chasing footage from April 14, 2012 during a major tornado outbreak in Kansas and Oklahoma. At least 5 tornadoes were intercepted from Russell, Kansas through Rush Center and into Rice County near Genoseo, Kansas. One of the tornadoes was a violent multi-vortex wedge tornado, rated at least EF-4 (winds around 200 MPH), which debarked trees and scoured pavement off the road! In this video clip, you will see the April 14 high-risk Kansas chase in the Central USA and the most violent of the tornadoes that day.
