In the end of January 2019 extreme cold affected the northern Midwest around January 30 and 31. In this video (from the Chicago Suburbs) a time-lapse of Vodka (with 40 percent alcohol content) is shown freezing in about an hour exposed to air at -25 deg F. After that, the famous "boiling water experiment" is done, tossing it in the air forming a supercooled cloud of vapor and ice.
The video requires at least a DSL connection and the latest FLASH Media Plugin for best results. This video is hosted to and linked to the YOUTUBE site (you can visit them at www.youtube.com). Click on the "play" icon in the video above if it does not start automatically.
