Video of category-4 Hurricane Harvey's devastating landfall near the Rockport / Fulton areas in SE Texas (Aransas County) east of Corpus Christi during the evening of August 25. Damage was extensive in this area from winds sustained at 130 MPH (with gusts to 145) as noted on August 26 the following day. After that, and moving back into the Houston area, catastrophic flooding was observed as the storm stalled near the area as a weakening tropical storm, dumping over 50 inches of rain in some areas. The video also shows the main landfall with destruction of a hotel I was at in Rockport, the eyewall and clear eye of the storm, and subsequent flooding near Houston.
