This was from Jan 7, 2008 I believe, near the IL / WI border along a warm front ... This was the earliest tornado that far north for that time of the year. I was working in Chicago that day, and before the storms rolled in it hit 67 deg F (after being a mere 5 deg F a few days earlier)!

Got a great skydive in today, Christmas eve, as the weather will again turn crappy by late Sat / into Sun over S FL. The focus now is family, as my mom is doing quite well, and enjoying the holidays.

Happy Holidays everyone ... Tested my iPhone and mobile wifi setup on Dec 18 before spending the evening at Tim Millar's place for another hurricane chaser party. This week is Christmas ... Have a great (and safe) holiday!

Enjoying cooler weather, getting ready for the holidays, and spent this weekend skydiving then off to Derek's chase party in Hollywood, FL (thanks Derek for having us all over)! Mike Laca, Jack Beven, and Jim Leonard to name a few showed up - Awesome footage to boot!

Back to "cool" Florida after a few days up in Toronto. Flew OUT of a major lake-effect snow band just as it was affecting Toronto (luckily flights were not cancelled and they did a good job de-icing aircraft). Canadian air all the way to FL. Saw heavy snow in the morning and 3 hours later ... I'm looking at palm trees ;-)
