High-Pressure ridge - It's ON. Cancelled my chase trip and saved it for a darker and more violent day (you thought I was gonna say "better and brighter"?) !

Chase Trip 2009 has been postponed until the "death ridge" ends ... Memorial Day plans will be hot dogs and BBQ - Storm Chasing may resume after that (if forecasts verify). The "Collura curse" is back for 2009.

I am afraid of the high pressure ridge (possible) during my May 21- June 1 chase trip to central US. High pressure ridges on the forecast models scare me, alot.

Just set storm chase trip 2009 for May 21 through June 1! Might "spot" chase sooner if necessary.
