Video of the effects of major category 4 hurricane Helene in the Florida "Big Bend" / nature coast area on September 26 to 27, 2024. Most observations were done in the Taylor and Madison County areas from south of Greensville and southwest of Madison, and North of Perry near I-10. The video shows the inner eyewall effects of the hurricane, with violent winds, as well as the storm center and eye passing over I-10 during the late night / early morning of September 26 to 27 as folks try to clear trees blocking the interstate.
